Scodev International developed the SCODEV, a scooping device for non-amphibious conventional aircraft, which allows this aircraft to scoop water from a body of water like the sea, lake, river, canal or dam-reservoir, and store it in the holding tank, while flying at an altitude of 50 feet and drop it on forest fires with a rate of average 5 times per hour.
The objective includes obtaining the EASA and FAA airworthiness certificate and bring the SCODEV to the world market early 2027.
