Scodev International and partners have developed the revolutionary SCODEV-system which enables non-amphibious forest-fire-fighting aircraft (airtanker) to scoop water inflight, flying at an altitude of 10 to 15 meter above the sea, a lake, river or canal, store it in the tanks and drop it on forest fires at an average frequency of 5 times per hour. Today these 2.000 non-amphibious airtankers have to land at an airport after each dropping to refill and they achieve only one dropping per hour.
